Well, this is very exciting news, as of 5am this morning branches of McDonald’s across the UK have reduced the prices of some of the items on their menu!
Thanks to the new VAT rules which came into play after the Chancellor Rishi Sunak’s announcement last week some of your favourite McDonald’s items just got a whole lot cheaper! RESULT.
McDonald’s fans can look forward to a 40p reduction on Extra Value Meals and 30p off Happy Meals.
McNuggets, Big Macs and Quarter Pounders with cheese will be 20p cheaper.
Alternative burgers such as the Filet O’Fish, the McChicken sandwich and Veggie Deluxe will be 20p cheaper as well.
McMuffins are to cost 30p less while breakfast meals are a full 50p cheaper. AMAZING!!
Black and white coffee will sell for 99p, instead of £1.39, and premium coffees such as cappuccino and latte will cost £1.49 instead of £1.79.
Sadly fries, McNuggets and cheese sides will stay at their current price.
It should be noted that franchisees can set their own prices, so be sure to check out the prices at your local branch before you buy.
We’ll race you to the drive thru!
