Baby Lilibet’s name is thought to be a homage to her great grandmother Elizabeth, the Queen – her family and husband Prince Phillip were known to affectionately use the nickname (derived from Elizabeth) so we think it’s a gorgeous, emotional tribute, especially with the recent loss of Prince Phillip. The inclusion of her late grandmother, Princess Diana, is definitely a tear-jerker too!
Lilibet is the couple’s second child – Meghan gave birth to baby Archie back in May 2019. She also heartbreakingly announced a miscarriage in 2020. The Duke and Duchess announced their pregnancy on Valentine’s Day this year with a stunning photoshoot – check out the cover photo!
Wishing the Duke, Duchess and new big brother Archie a huge CONGRATULATIONS!
